The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Groat at 4:03 PM.

Review and Adopt Minutes

Galen Lyons Landfill Committee Meeting Minutes – Dec. 17, 2018 (N/A)

Motion by; Lancaster /2^nd by; Malbone to except the minutes as submitted.

Short discussion on the Galen/Lyons Landfill leachate tank and the level reader not reading properly. It is believed that the tank was so full that the meter was reading zero. A couple of loads were taken off and the reader appeared to be reading correctly. It has not been determined why the tank was that full, the last load taken from the tank was approximately in June or July. Supervisor Groat stated he will periodically climb the ladder to the top of the tank to check the levels on the reader and monitor the true leachate level. In the past, the discussed level should never be more than half full.

Organizational meeting to be January 14^th, 2019 at the regular town board meeting.

Motion by; Lancaster /2^nd by; Malbone to approve the annual membership for the Galen Historical to the NYS Association of Public Historians for $35.00.

Motion by; Lancaster /2^nd by; Malbone to approve the annual agreement with Lee Walter to audit Town of Galen Justice, Town Clerk, and Tax Collection books for the 2018 year end books.

At this time the Galen Town Board made the appointment of Jamie Serrett to the Medical Director position for the Galen Clyde Ambulance Service. Two applications were received and reviewed by the Galen/Clyde Ambulance committee, only one of which returned a call for an interview. This appointment is for the 2019 year beginning January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. This to be an annual appointment made at the reorganizational meeting in January of each year.

Motion by; Malbone /2^nd by; Lancaster to appoint Jamie Serrett as the Town of Galen/Clyde Ambulance Medical Director for the 2019 year.

Review and Approve End of Year Warrants – December 2018

General Warrant:  V# 361 - 366 in the amount of $1,783.12

Highway Warrant:  V# 196 - 204 in the amount of $9,431.57
