The 5,200-square-foot facility offers year-round environmental education programs, exhibits and presentations. The MAC houses a large exhibit area, nature store, auditorium, meeting room, classroom and office area. on its 198 acres, there are five types of habitat, two restored freshwater marshes, two miles of trails, and an all-access observation platform. Conoes, kayaks, and snowshoes are available to access the heart of Montezuma's wetlands, forests, and grasslands. Other recreational opportunities include nature photography, cross-country skiing, fishing, picnicing, wildlife viewing, and hiking.
